Our mission at Elevate Theatre Company is to create space for audiences and artists to explore health and well-being through the art of storytelling.
What is Elevate?
Elevate is theater for health. We are a theater company making art that explores health themes. We bring health to the forefront of our artistic conversation and use storytelling as a vehicle for health promotion. Our artistic work primes audiences, drawing them in with relatable stories and we provide opportunities for discussion and engagement post performance.

In today’s world, we are experiencing attacks from all sides on our health and well-being, from the COVID-19 pandemic to institutionalized racism, from chronic disease to climate change. At Elevate, we see performing arts and storytelling as a communal practice promoting health and well-being. To reflect these times, we use our art to educate, inspire and provoke action towards improved health and well-being of our communities and our world.
